A return always means cherished memories and affectionate ties. We are not exempt from that rule, and return with clear pleasure to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Everyone who was present in 2004 can tell you, we had some great times and the organisation was perfect. We are hoping to do better this year, but we already have some ideas for this and we are all working towards this goal with a never-ending passion!
For those of you who could not join us for the 2004 celebration, a brief summary is called for. Southern Bavaria is a place where you can breathe the pure air of the Alps and where tradition is not a meaningless word. This natural purity combined with the simplicity and warmth of the Bavarians guarantee a week of relaxation and fun for both you and us …and always with the mind geared towards performance.
In this regard, the best awaits you: high quality football pitches in an ideal setting, bike paths running through the surrounding valleys, Olympic pool at the foot of the Mountains . . . Garmisch-Partenkirchen is truly an ideal place for organising the World Medicine and Health Games. So much so that a 2nd edition was called for!
