A UNIQUE EVENT!

Since their creation in 1978, the World Medical and Health Games have imposed themselves as THE medical-sporting event of reference.

Open to members of the medical and health professions, the WMHG are an occasion for all those who work in the world of Health, whatever their level, to meet up in a warm and friendly atmosphere while practising their favourite sport(s).
Every year almost 4,000 people participate in this great sporting and professional event, where more than 40 countries are represented.


ONE WEEK AT THE GAMES

Saturday and Sunday are dedicated to greeting the participants, featuring an opening parade of the participants on Sunday followed by a cocktail party.  From the Monday to the Friday the competitions take place according to the established programme of events.  Every evening the medalists from that day are honoured in the VIP Area with a cocktail and entertainment. Friday night the name of the host city for the next World medical and Health Games will be officially announced, followed by a closing ceremony where, glasses in hand, we will be able to say good-bye already thinking about next year. Lastly, the Saturday is usually marked by departures.
